Jason Dillon 69 Chevy Camaro

OWNER of this prodigious ’69 Camaro, Jason Dillon calls the colour, ‘Battleship Grey’. But forget trying to find it on any colour chart, it’s his own, one-off, custom-mixed colour. Bought sight-unseen off-the net as a rusty survivor, the F-Body has been completely rebuilt. It rides on 18×7 and 20×10, satin-finished Streeters, sporting custom-made flat centre caps. Part of the American Legend, 1-piece Classic Muscle Series, the Streeters are wrapped in sticky Kumho 225/40R18 and 295/30R20 rubber. To make the most of the enhanced grip, Jason added Hotchkis chassis connectors to the seam-welded front clip, QA-1 coil-overs up front and lowered DSE leaf springs out back with QA-1 shocks. There’s also a set of DSE mini-tubs to let the fat-lipped Streeters tuck nice ‘n’ high up into the wheel wells. Other standout highlights include; a loud and cranky (thanks to its solid lifter cam) 600-horse, 406-cube small-block, Huges TH350 and 10-bolt filled with billet axels and Positrac centre. Inside is an array of updated instruments, extra Auto Meter gauges, B&M shifter, tonnes of retrimming and a thumping audio system for cruising tunes.
